Switched at birth is the story of artistic Bay Kennish and deafened basketball player, Daphne Vasquez, who were accidentally switched at the hospital after being born and grew up with each other’s families. The girls discover this when they teenagers and decided to meet each other. After meeting, they both discover they have similar traits like their biological families and start to bond and the Vasquez family move into the Kennish family’s guest home because of their financial troubles. But after a while, Daphne’s non-biological mother refuses to switch children and the situation starts to become difficult to handle.
