Summary: Rediculously loud music on documentaries. Its off putting. Ive stopped watching them. It doesn't enhance the programme, it destroys it. So fed up with it, that if music continues more than 10 minutes, I don't bother watching the docu. Discovery Histo

Summary: Annoying & repetitive coming attractions
Review: The promos for upcoming shows are so annoying. They are shown over & over again for weeks at a time.
Between the commercials & the promos there is hardly any show time.

Summary: Background music on ID shows is louder than voices!!
Review: With the numerous complaints about this from all over the U.S., WHY has the network not taken steps to remedy this huge problem??!! It is sooo annoying that there is no point even trying to watch the ID shows anymore!! Maybe some music producer thought he was going to make a name for himself with the obnoxiously loud music!! Instead, the result is major loss of viewing audience! I do not even try to watch the ID channel anymore - it's pointless when voices cannot be heard over the music!! The person(s) in charge of the music should be fired!

Summary: Background music too loud.
Review: I love the stories and I watch for hours, but the music and sound effects are so loud and unnecessary. If I didn't have close caption I could get nothing from the shows.
All of the sister networks are also guilty of loud music.
Please correct this.

Summary: Background music is a deal breaker.
Review: I really love this channel, but it has gotten to be so annoying to watch with the background music being so LOUD that I can't even hear what's being said. If this isn't stopped, I will not be able to continue watching my favorite channel. Are you listening? Google: background music too loud and you will find all the different complaints about this.

Summary: Cut the damn loud music!
Review: I've had to stop watching this channel as the music is INFURIATING, AGGRAVATING, IRRITATING and totally UNNECESSARY!!!!!!!!!

Summary: Slanted and one sided story telling. They threw the facts out the window on this one. They have lost all credibility with me.
Review: The Betty Broderick story (Deadly Women) was entirely slanted to make the viewer feel sorry for Betty. Well, I watched the trial on court TV years ago and Betty is a heartless murderer, who has never had an ounce of remorse. How Discovery could slant this story for one believe that Dan Broderick and Linda Kolkena were victimizing Betty is reprehensible. Until now I've enjoy the show. Now, I've lost all trust in the show. It's garbage. Betty is a very sick person.

Summary: background music ( = noise) detracts immensely from dialogue
Review: The new "music" supposedly is used for emphasis and intensity--supposedly.
However, the "music" often drowns out the very dialogue.
Whoever sold this veritable noise to the channel is making money but, I think, is chasing viewers away--like me and neighbors.
Wake up, producers.

Summary: Background music is way too loud.
Review: Really like this series, but am very frustrated at how long the this problem has continued. Are the show's producers even aware of the complaints?

Summary: Background effects (music?) spoils most crime episodes.
Review: I guess you are incapable of learning. Must be some executive's big, fat, ego. Good stories are ruined by bombastic, pointless drum and piano crescendos that overpower narration, which would often be hard to hear despite the gratuitous noise
Rating:

Summary: Background music too loud and ill-timed. Becomes a crescendo when dramatic effect not required. Pounding drums intrusive to the point of infuriating. Music should be underneath narration and general dialogue. Like story content, hate background. Get
Review: I think ID programs have great human interest. But I've stopped watching your shows because of the annoyance factor. Are the producers that clueless???!!!

Summary: Background music too loud.
Review: Can\'t enjoy this channel anymore; the music is too loud. Drum beats, violins, you name it, it drowns out what they are saying. No more for me. Too bad, too, as I\'m a devoted viewer, but can\'t overcome this!

Review: Please do something about the loud background music on the shows. The music is louder than the narrator. It has become so annoying to me that I have started choosing other stations to watch.

Summary: Commercials are very loud
Review: We enjoy watching your show. We put it on every night as we go to bed. However, when the commercials come on they are extremely loud and sometimes even wake us up. We are forced to get up and turn it down. Very annoying.
