HTPC
A HTPC or Home Theater PC refers to a personal computer (although other hardware is now used such as Roku and android boxes). A HTPC is a specially set-up box that is used to play and store media files using a custom frontend such as XBMC. A home theater system will be designed for quick booting, quiet operation, and a case that looks more like audio visual equipment rather than a PC.
