P2P users may ked kicked offline

New piracy agreements by the big ISP's mean that by using file sharing software could get users kicked off the net.

As the agreement is between the providers and they are all in it together. Im thinking that once one kicks you off, the rest wont touch you either.

So you could lose all web access which is pretty bad for watching a crap film anyway!!

I think that the noose is tightening. As the net becomes more established, pirates will be squeezed out more and more. Of course piracy will exist always and service providers will never be able to police what every individual does. And if they do cancel accounts just because you downloaded an MP3, they will lose a shitload of money.

The net is certainly being tightened first they shut down megaupload and now BT Junkie goes down the pan. I think there will be a lot of nervous website owners who were previously untouchable, but now will be making exit strategies for the day the feds come knocking.

We may well look back at this year as the time free downloads died.
