Amazing news from the UK concerning the biggest selling English language newspaper owned by Rupert Murdoch's News Corp.

The newspaper is shutting down thanks to a phone hacking scandal that grew out of control.

In a week when criticism reached fever pitch and advertisers bailed out in their droves, many saw no other option than to shut it down.

The hacking news was broken by the Guardian newspaper reporting that fallen soldiers and dead kids mobile phones were hacked into for a cheap story.
