South Park Cut Back To 10 Episodes Per Season

The creators of South Park have announced that their show will not be airing until September now, and will be a 10-episode season rather than two 7-episode half-seasons. Must be tough working 7 weeks solid twice a year whatever you do inbetween, so is one 10-week block any better?

I can only guess they are running out of good ideas, and need to concentrate on the quality. Otherwise why would you scale down on a hit show?
