    Question Translating Something Back

Google Translate seems to be a reliable service that has bought the world's websites closer together and probably even made some conversations easier (even if every sentence involves typing into a phone), but it looks like mistakes can be made if you keep translating and re-translating (presumably as phrases take on slightly altered meanings and context), or is it just the experiment that these guys pulled that makes it seem that way (because no-one ever really needs to run loads of words through over 60 languages before putting it back to their own)?

It's just like Chinese whispers, repeat something enough from person to person and it becomes completely different.!
