It may be a bit late in the day now, but Intel are looking to launch tablet PC's after seeing the PC market change before their eyes.
Intel unveiled plans to introduce more than 10 new tablet computer models that run on its own chips as it seeks to expand beyond its personal computer stronghold into mobile devices, where designs from competitor ARM Holdings have become the standard.
The microprocessor maker plans to showcase the new tablets along with its PC manufacturing partners at the Computex computer trade show, which opens on May 31 in Taiwan.
