The I'll fated Google Chrome os will be merged with Android or killed off in 2011 says the guy behind Gmail and Adsense.

Apparently the two operating systems are too similar and Google wants to concentrate on the successful one in it's bid to make a fully scalable os.

The only difference, as it stands, between Chrome OS & Android OS is that one is a fully supported, widely popular OS deployed on tens of millions of devices while the other has not yet been launched and doesn't provide stability.

Agreed. It is totally pointless for Google to support and develop 2 operating systems. They will just do what Microsoft do, and update it every 5 minutes. Lets hope they dont start charging though..
