Whoopi Goldberg starring in web only TV show
With the increased popularity in ‘webisodes’ its no surprise that the big names are getting in on the act.
Latest celebrity to enter the fray is oscar winning actress Whoopi Goldberg who is starring in abrand new scifi mini series being broadcast on an online tv website.
The name of the show is Stream and it will be showing on Horror network Fearnet.com on 15th January 2008.
As is usual on webisodes the shows will be quite short in length (5 minutes) and will consist of six weekly installments following Whoopi’s character coming to terms with her fears.
Here is the Stream show synopsis:-
“Stream hauntingly chronicles the struggles of a woman who spends her lifetime wrestling with her personal demons and trying to gather the strength to face her first fears. Whoopi Goldberg is Jodi Quinn. Thanks to a drug she took when she was seventeen, moments from various points in Jodi’s life become intertwined, effectively letting her experience two moments at once. Jodi has spoken with her future husband; she’s visited the psychiatric ward where she will reside in her twenties, and she has come face to face with a vision that will haunt her throughout her life.â€
Previously Goldberg has dipped her toe in the scifi world appearing in Star Trek The Next Generation.
