Break out your iphone and get watching Free TV. The Joost video Web service was launched this week and is suitable for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Its a free application available via the Apple Store.

You can watch flash based movies, documentaries, sports and of course music.

Joost CEO Mike Volpi said – “Offering Joost on the iPhone and iPod Touch is an important step for Joost as we endeavor to offer users premium entertainment where they want it and when they want it,”

Iphone users can watch Joost content by most popular videos, searching by category, or just searching for particular videos.

Joost hasnt had it all plain sailing though, the application on the Apple devices is has several competitors. Joost’s global Web video service has over 46,000 videos (including 18,000 music videos) as well as 400 TV series and 1,200 movies.
