Hulu on Google TV if your quick

So your sitting in front of your flashy Google TV, but you have no internet tv to watch. Hulu have blocked their streaming to Google TV viewers using the Chrome app . However, there is a way to beat the mighty Hulu and get viewing.

The way to get viewing involves a little work, but then the prize is pretty good. Just pull up the browser on your tv, click on “More” and then “Advanced”. Set “Generic” as your user agent, and you’ll be able to visit Hulu.

Easy and simple, although you have to redo this for each visit. But until Hulu and Google sort things out, it’s the only way to watch those lovely tv shows via streaming for now.

The only problem is that now this idea is in the public domain, Hulu may have blocked it already!

  1. As soon as I get this google tv thing up and running I am going to check if the version of chrome it runs allows for extensions like the PC & MAC versions. If so then I see no reason you can’t install full on user agent spoofer and change both browser AND OS version.

  2. 12/03/10 tried it and it doesn’t work… hulu has blocked it as well…
