Warpia New Wireless StreamHD Gives 1080P From PC To HDTV streaming

The dream of internet tv watching fans is to get that unrestricted web content onto the big screen tv with no wires, and more gadgets are appearing that fulfill the task. Everyone is keeping a keen eye on the CES at the moment, the consumer electronics show focuses on what gadgets and gizmos should be coming to our homes in the year ahead and also beyond that.

The new wireless streaming pc to tv device is from Warpia who have produced a great little gadget called the StreamHD, which allows users to stream content from their computers and laptops and to view it in upto 1080P (1920 x 1280) resolution on their HDTV sets.

The USB Adapter connects to a USB port thats available in all notebooks and in all modern PC’s, and the main unit connects to an HDMI port thats available in flat screen HDTVs. Stereo audio is supported via the HDMI port (along with the video) or via a seperate 3.5mm audio jack. Use the S/PDIF output for 5.1 surround sound for a stunning wireless audio/video experience.

Warpa says that their StreamHD device will allow, “content such as streaming video, pictures, movies, presentations, Facebook, Hulu, Joost, Netflix and other applications to be shown on your HDTV without the hassle and clutter of wires”.

This wireless functionality extends to about 30 feet, and if you happen to have optical inputs on your home cinema setup you can benefit from 5.1 surround sound as well. According to the company all you have to do is connect the receiver base to your display via HDMI, then plug the USB adapter in to your computer.
