U-verse TV Users Now Able To Schedule DVR Recordings Online

AT&T are determined not to let you miss out watching your favorite TV shows. AT&T U-verse has been an evolving service ever since it was first launched, and now it’s shoulder to shoulder with the big players such as DirecTV and Dish Network in terms of ease of use and features.

U-verse TV is the TV end of AT&T’s range of fiber optics services, and now they are adding a new feature that satellite providers have been offering for quite awhile now, online scheduling.

With the use of U-verse Online customers are now able to schedule DVR recordings directly from the Web, and they can also use this to see which of the DVR recordings can also be watched on their computer via U-verse Online.

When U-verse TV customers are logged into the site they are able to browse titles and then instantly schedule recordings for any movies or TV shows that are available for recording on their U-verse DVR at home, and they can then select “Schedule Series Recording on my U-verse DVR” to record a show or movie, and a red dot will appear instantly to confirm your U-verse DVR is set to record.

If you’re not at home and want to see if some of your recordings are also available to watch on U-verse Online, you can then select “My U-verse DVR” to see specific episodes and movies to watch instantly with U-verse Online.

This is obviously a great addition for customers who travel around a lot or who aren’t usually at home for prime time viewing hours, and for the cable companies who aren’t offering something similar.

I can schedule and manage my DVR recordings from remote locations too with my DISH Network app. As a DISH Network customer and employee I can tell you that I can stream live content with my Sling loaded 922 receiver model from DISH. You can’t stream live channel content with U-Verse. There are apps available for most smartphones, tablets, and computers with DISH.
