TV.com trying to outdo Hulu
Are Hulu running scared of the new TV.com? Now that CBS have the TV.com website in their portfolio after its acquisition of CNET a few months ago, it is giving the site a complet internet TV makeover.

TV.com has always been a pretty boring TV info website and community hangout for its users, but now it is a TV show and video website too. It already features content from Hulu, but now also has in its armour, CBS TV shows and will soon feature content from more partners such as MGM, Sony, Showtime, PBS and Endemol.
CBS are claiming that the website is a social community complete with TV shows. The competition TV sites such as Fox, NBC, Comcast, Joost and Hulu are frantically trying to build a community around there TV show websites.
The problem is that with TV.com, there is nothing new on offer that you cannot find elsewhere. And when it comes to ABC episodes, there is no link to the show which happens on the other popular TV websites.
TV.com may well turn into a great TV destination once it’s complete, however Hulu still blows it away. But hey, competition is always a good thing in the online tv market.
