Users of the Motorola Xoom tablet have a great TV watching machine. Shame that Hulu does not allow streaming on the device. Well, that is until now. With a little bit of chickanery, your Xoom could be streaming premium catch-up before you know it.

The trick? Well, it involvesheading over to the XDA developers forum and removing the built in Flash player.  The post says to uninstall Flash, and the install the modified version of Flash from the site called BRDizzled. Resulting in Hulu streaming on Xoom.

It also says that you may well need to be running HC 3.1 on the XOOM for the hack to work effectively, due to the tegra hardware acceleration in the software. The Xoom runs on Android 3.1 platform and boasts specs that include, 1GHz, NVIDIA Tegra 2 with 1GB RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a 10.1-inch, 1280 x 800 capacitive display, 3G connectivity and front plus rear facing cameras.

Then you can get watching on the big 10″ HD Xoom screen, because it may well be ineffective as soon as Hulu find out. They want strict control of all streaming to non PC devices, and only want the paid Hulu Plus version available for these devices.

Netflix recently announced thay had started rolling out their streaming for Android phones.
