Transformers Dark of the Moon Trailer Gets 6 Million Downloads In 24 Hours

The successful Transformers franchise has broken an online record. The third movie titled Transformers Dark of the Moon, has had the trailer downloaded more than six million times from Apple Trailers website in it’s first day.

The news announced in a press release means that the trailer is officially the most watched ever on the site. The trailer which is the third Transformers movie stars Shia LaBeouf, John Turturro and Josh Duhamel.

The story goes that a mysterious event from Earth’s past erupts into the present day it threatens to bring a war to earth so big that the Transformers alone will not be able to save us.

The much anticipated movie will open in theaters on July 1st, 2011. The movie has covered every viewing option and is available in Real D 3D and IMAX 3D. One thing is for sure. If the trailer is this popular, the movie is going to bust the box office wide open.
