SkyGrid have launched a TV app that lets viewers watch customized ‘snack size TV’ anytime and anyplace. The app which works on iPad and is coming to LG smart TV sets, lets viewers watch a variety of content including entertainment, sports, news and politics.

TouchTV brings trending tv to iPad and LG

Users with the Touchtv app can select from channels that interest them and see the latest trending events. From National Geographic, ESPN, Discovery, NBC, BBC America and many more,  users select channels to follow and the app updates automatically and seamlessly delivering the latest content.

As well as for use on Apple’s tablet, LG will be bringing Touchtv technology to their range of Smart TVs in the next month or so. It is officially scheduled for Q1 in 2012.

Kevin Pomplun, SkyGrid’s CEO said, “TouchTV gives viewers their own personal TV to watch their favorite channels effortlessly. Simply launch TouchTV and “touch” any channel to start watching. From the Home Screen viewers can add more channels and personalize their TV.”

The app is available for free from the app store or direct from the SkyGrid website.
