Think TV Stars Look Perfect? Think Again.

If you had always thought that TV stars looked too perfect, then you were right. With the advent of more HD TV Channels, broadcasters are giving pampered newsreaders a makeover.

Sky TV, the satellite giant owned by Rupert Murdoch has reassured stars such as Eammonn Holmes and Kay Burley that they will get the makeup, hair and wardrobe ready for the high definition switch happening next spring.

Sky News bosses are concerned that high definition will show detail four times clearer than standard definition. This means that every blemish, pimple and wrinkle will be visible to the poor viewing public.

Previously a Sky Sports presenter Richard Keys, affectinately known as ‘the werewolf’ had hair removed from his hands prior to HD turn on.

A spokeperson said:- “Everyone is worried from the anchors to reporters on the ground. They have all been assured that they will still look good.”

Well, with wars breaking out everywhere, and the great economic depression we are all in. It is good to know they have their priorities right.
