Anyone who has not already seen or heard the Susan Boyle video, here it is.

Featured on UK talent show ‘Britains got talent’ the singer (Susan Boyle) enters stage to howls of laughter and derision when she says that she wants to be a famous singing star.

However the laughter stopped when she began singing with an amazing voice that brought many a tear to many an eye.

Now becoming famous worldwide, Ms. Boyle embodies how hopes and dreams can be found in the strangest of places and people. All you need to do is to believe.

It was great to see the stupid judges and audience learn a big lesson. The old saying – “Don’t judge a book by it’s cover”, has never been more valid. I see a lot of change in the world recently. The 1st African American president of the United states. People seem to be comeing together to work towards the common good of the country and the world. The old rules no longer apply. We are not just thinking out of the box we are acting out of the box. I feel a lot of hope lately in the air. Just in the little things that people are doing for each other like holding open a door for someone. Ellen and Ophrah and other celebrities have raised the bar for all of us. Even though times are hard, or may because they are, people seem to want to help out more.
