Hi, We've recently purchased an LG 3D smart Tv which can stream internet on its installed browser. Also bought along with it was a 3D Blu-ray player which has wireless capabilities. We were sold a HDMI-ethernet cable for the connection between the blu-ray and Tv. but we can't seem to get the internet connection to reach the TV through the Blu-ray player. the blu-ray's connection to the internet is fine and we can browse youtube videos on the player, but the connection doesn't go any further. When searching for a connection for the Tv it cannot find anything. :/

Can someone PLEASE help?? otherwise spending the extra grand was pointless. :/

Internet-ready Blu-ray players are certainly a nice alternative if you don't have enough money to purchase an internet-ready HDTV yet. Though there are some Blu-ray players which have built-in WiFi, most of the cheap ones don't. So how would you be able to connect your player if your wireless router and player are in different rooms? I got just the thing to take care of that. Check out Netgear's Universal WiFi Internet Adapter. This WiFi adapter is compatible with most internet-ready devices such as TVs, Blu-ray players, gaming consoles, and more. You can also use it to connect notebooks, wireless printers, and other networked home theater devices.
