Star Trek:-

“Space…The Final Frontier. These are the voyages of the Starship, Enterprise. Its 5-year mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before!”

The hit Scifi series set during the 23rd century where Earth has survived World War III then moved on to explore the stars. Humanity has allied with other alien life..

CBS has released a software application allowing iPhone users to access streams from its TV website TV.com and watch full episodes of hit television shows including the original series of Star Trek and for non trekkies shows like C.S.I. amongst others. This is one up on Hulu who have no such app for the Apple mega phone.

Although many videos are available to watch on iPhone by using the YouTube and Joost apps. This is the first that has mainstream TV episodes to watch via Wifi or network connections.

Because the big internet TV websites like Hulu use Adobes Flash Player, which happens to be incompatible with iPhone and other mobile devices. You cannot view their content when you go walkabouts

Hulu has said in the past that it would like to see its streaming content delivered to more devices, but has yet to develop an application for mobile video players.

Its a good move by CBS after Hulu killed all its streaming content to the site as it can now appeal to mobile phone users wanting to watch TV shows on the move.

Now of course the other networks may feel obliged to provide TV streams for iPhone or lose out on that all important audience.
