Sopcast is a Streaming Direct Broadcast System based on P2P. Sopcast shows many live football games and other sporting events along with its other channels and is one of the most popular P2P programs available
Sopcast as with all the other P2P programs Sopcast uses Peer to Peer technology which is very efficient and easy to use.The more people that watch a particular channel at the same time the quicker the download speed will be and as a result the channels will be a lot clearer and smoother. Sopcast along with all the other P2P programs operate in this way.
The streams on here seem to be quite stable compared to other P2P programs probably because so many people are now using this program. Apparantly some channels especially live Football matches get up to half a million viewers.
Channels found on Sopcast include Sport Channels 1, 2, 3 and 4, Guangdong (GDTV), CCTV 5, MK Sports and Cell Sports just to name a few there is literally hundreds more, more are added on a daily basis.

How to use sopcast
Step1: Download SopCast before you open and install it and update online. The overview screen, where you can see the home (info from the website) , the channels and Myserver.
Step2: Launch SopCast and the login screen will pop up. Login as anonymous allows you to see the normal channels while login as a registered user enable you to add your yourself to special groups for more channels.
Step3: On the overview screen, where you can see three menus(Home, Channels and Myserver)
Step4: Clicking on the channel you like, you can see a new screen show up on the on the right side of overview screen. The channel will be loaded by double click it.
Note: You can also stream your own channel easily by going to “MyServer” where you are allowed to stream files.

Sopcast Web Player
The web player allows you to use Sopcast within your web browser although doesn’t have the same functionality as the full version.
hi guys, just like to ask why i cant see any video but i can hear the audio of the hollywood movies under Live channels tab of sopcast. please help me how i can see the picture on the window.
when i put account name in and password and click login at the bottom it says start live update agent and it just stays their it doesnt go to the main screen what can i do please help
