Dexter on Showtime Anytime

Cable TV Network Showtime have announced the launch this month of their online tv streaming service – Showtime Anytime. The premium content service will be free for all subscribers to Showtime.

The internet tv service allows viewers to view 400 plus hours of Showtime tv and movie content anywhere. Currently signed up are Comcast with their newly launched Xfinity awevice, with more to be announced.

To use the service, will depend on current user suppliers. Showtime subscribers can use the service by visiting the ShowtimeAnytime.com website due later this year, whilst Comcast subscribers can currently access the service now through the Xfinity TV online service at xfinitytv.com. The network said it is currently talking to other providers about securing deals for the site.

The Showtime Anytime service has features to tempt viewers online including a “My List” option aka favorites. Whole seasons of hit shows to watch, with the option to send all new episodes to your My List section.

Said Showtime:- “We’re excited to be able to offer this added-value service to our subscribers, with Showtime Anytime, our subscribers will have access to their favorite programs online with an easy-to-use service that provides the flexibility to choose where and when they would like to watch our content.”

Showtime are one of many premium TV suppliers getting their content online to compete with the growing internet tv threat.
