Samsung To Launch Free TV On Moment Mobile Phone
Samsung have announced that their mobile phone ‘Moment’ will be the first phone that can show Mobile DTV, the new free-to-air mobile TV standard that’s launching early this year. Free mobile television will be launching across a range of laptops, Phones and other mobile devices during the year. Samsung also revealed they will trial the Mobile DTV enabled Moment in the Washington and Baltimore areas during the first quarter of the year.

The Mobile DTV standard will let local broadcasters to transmit free digital signals to phones and portable devices using their existing broadcast spectrum. Over 35 stations are already online, with five in Las Vegas doing demonstrations at CES. Stations in 96 of the top 100 US markets have already signed up to broadcast mobile TV.

A Samsung press release reveals that the Moment was chosen because of its large 3.2-inch display, which allows for wide viewing angles. Samsung gave no firm details of a release date for the phone at this time.

Well, I was just going through the features of the phone and it seemed amazing. I will love to have such a phone without caring even if there is the facility of Mobile DTV. Definitely, with DTV feature, things just get better.
Now that’s a phone. I’m glad the design looks good too. There are lots of phones with awesome specifications but their design looks awful. But not this one. Do we know the price of this baby yet?
I guess “Moment” will be one of the best Android powered handsets out there. The size of this phone seems to be almost exact with the size of the allmighty,overrated Droid!
Just purchased a Mythic for myself and will likely be having one particular for my wife soon! It has just the right mix of attributes. just brief of a total smartphone. I’m retaining an eye within the Captivate for any potential future cell phone..
.selling prices are way as well higher when released. I’ve been in higher tech for 20+ many years and fundamentally hack every little thing I very own to make it better laptops, GPS, car navigation techniques, and so on. and yes cell phones too. Inside few days I’ve owned the mobile phone I’ve by now set up Opera Mini, Bolt 2.1, freecaddie, Google Maps w/GPS functionality, deleted all locked unproductive apps soon after backing them up and fully modified the menu system to my exact needs devoid of all unproductive apps.
I have reconfigured the Samsung Vibrant completely. As it was it was next to useless. But with my higher knowledge (at least compared to the silly people who created the device) I have a Droid that has enabled me, actually not have to do anything.
The apps were remove and all replaced by better apps of my choosing. All functions reworked to suit my tastes. I watch free cable if I choose using the tuner I configured. I control everything from my Droid now. I quit going to the office. I haven’t had to leave the house in a month. I watch the kids on the Droid now. It takes care of my dog too. I have everything set in Calender with reminders and notifications. I I need anything from the outside it’s delivered to my door that I quickly open with the Droid grab the stuff and then it closes. I could go on but my Droid is a bit demmanding and is requiring my attention.
So by for now.
