Orb Software Turns Playstation Into Streaming TV Device

A disc is available for PS3 owners that will make it easy to accessonline TV and movies from streaming websites such as Hulu, Netflix, Amazon and YouTube amongst others on your TV.

The $20 disc from Orb Networks, works on any connected Playstation 3, creating a connected TV without having to pay big bucks for one. The service can be controlled through a a range of apps.

Orb also lets users stream content from any PC, including movies, photos and even their iTunes library. ORB are said to be bringing the product to all BD Live-enabled Blu-ray players as well.

Orb software can run using a controller app, which shows all TV shows and when chosen, jumps to the correct website to view it.

Date for product shipping is this week.
