  1. Online TV will never replace regular tv but more and more ppl are starting to tune in to online television.

  2. Over the past 2 months, we have seen a 400% increase in enquiries from computer users who want to view free TV on their computers. There are a couple of things driving this: (1) The availability starting this year of High Definition Freeview (DVB-T) – that is, free to view digital TV received through an aerial; and (2) the long-awaited launch in the UK of HDHomeRun, a ‘black box’ which provides 2 digital TV tuners which can be connected to a home network, so any of the client’s computers can watch, pause and record Freeview without needing a seperate tuner and aerial for each.

  3. Lets face it guys, why pay $30-$50 per month when you never watch the crap they show anyway??

Just hook up your TV to PC and watch the millions of online TV streams you can find on the net

  4. Well as im pretty well off i have both. Watch cable and satellite whilst in the lounge on the 50 inch plasma then watch online when im pottering around other rooms…

    What credit crunch??? Hahahahaha…

  5. The goddam cable companies should be dropping their prices. Why pay for the lousy content and shoddy customer service? Before there was no other option but now i can watch what i want using different means. I think these companies gotta be shitting themselves about now

  6. Im not poor but i just never watch Sky even though i pay for it…

I think either free tv or pay on demand is the way to go..

I feel cheated when my payment comes out but i havent watched any Sky all month :(

  7. I agree with this blog post, people do look for TV over the internet as an alternative to their cable. They are looking to save some money in the recession.
