A new app from Samuel Dutouquet offers iOS users an easy and intuitive way of keeping track of your favorite TV shows for just $1.99. The app, which comes with a full tutorial of its use allows users to search for their favorite shows and are displayed in an easy to read and see banner form. From there users will click on the banner of their favorite show and will be added to a My Series tab.
The Trackt app also has the functionality to switch between several tabs, including an All Series tab, Currently Broadcasted tab, Waiting New Episodes tab, and an Ended tab. That app provides users with an easy to access status of each series at-a-glance, and will even alert you when your favorite show has an upcoming episode.
When viewing individual show information you will get detailed info like the shows length, air times, channel numbers and a ratings average based on star ratings from other veiwers. Full episode synopsis’ are available in addition to season information like when the show premiered or when the current season will end.
Trakt TV also provides users with a feature that allows you to track down which episodes you have or have not seen for each of your favorite shows. Marking options include designating that you have viewed an entire season, and easily lets you mark current season episodes as seen. From there the app will alert you when an un-seen episode may be appearing on television.
