Miramax Streaming Movie Deal Comes To Hulu
Anything Netflix can do, Hulu can do better. Well, when it comes to tying up hollywood movie deals, anyway. Hulu have announced that a multi-year agreement has been reached with Miramax, bringing the library of cult films including Pulp Fiction to the streaming service.
The deal announced in a joint press release, will bring the Miramax lineup of movies to Hulu Plus (no surprise), but also to the Hulu free service as well. Movies coming to Hulu Plus include hits such asĀ Good Will Hunting, Swingers and Kill Bill.
For the free Hulu service, viewers will get 15 Miramax movies per month to watch, which are then changed for the next month. For free service though, viewers will need to watch ad breaks throughout the movie.
If you cannot handle the advertising then viewers can join the Hulu Plus service for $8 per month. Paid members can watch ad free movies (some in HD), and are not restricted to the 15 movies monthly limitation.
The news comes barely two months after Miramax agreed a similar deal with Netflix. Non-exclusive of course.
