Justin.TV is bigger than Hulu shocker
Whilst Hulu has been basking in the glory of its phenomenal rise to stardom online, and becoming one of the biggest TV websites on the net bar none.
Quietly another video website has seen a massive rise in viewers from across not just the US but the globe. Justin.tv has had a massive audience increase from 9.3 million unique visitors during January to 15 million during February. This is a similar number who visited Veoh and around twice the number Hulu received. Hulu is of course a US only website as the TV streams dont play anywhere else. The figures released by ComScore show that Justin.tv attracted only 1.4 million viewers in the US during February whilst the rest of its audience came mainly from Europe.

So what is making Justin.TV so popular? Well a big part of it could be the live sports streams that are broadcast on different channels on the website including premiership football (soccer) popular in Europe. All stricly illegally of course, but as the authorities do nothing about it the viewers keep on coming.
It could also be the fact that watching live video is becoming very popular. ComScore figures show that the average Justin.tv viewer in the US views just over one hour of video per month (64.7 minutes), around the same as a Veoh viewer (64.5 minutes), but still far behind Hulu viewer numbers (87.2 minutes).
Another live video website ustream.tv is also seeing a rise in viewer numbers. The attraction is that anyone with a pc, broadband and a web cam can set up their own channel and broadcast live. Unfortunately these sites are not very well regulated so there is plenty of shady, immoral and illegal stuff going down.
Of course if (when) Hulu goes international it would outgrow the rest of the video websites put together.

Guys Justin just looking for publicity. They jus promote porn and illegal stuff and thats why they get so many visitors. Without that it wouldnt be piopular at all
I think that Justin.tv is cool. Its got the best quality live video on the web and is the easiest place to broadcast. And thats why its grown so fast so quickly – Well done Justin!
When you consider that Hulu dont let any Non USA visitors in so they dont upset all of the tv networks that are syndicate Hulu’s content.
And when you also consider that Justin.tv is chock fulla illegal stuff and porn then how can u be surprised that Justin gets better traffic from the world??
Well im in the UK and Hulu is a heap of shit i cannot watch but Justin.tv is doing a superb job of letting millions of users share all kinds of things live on your cam. Of course there will always be shit and illegal content going on because its a free broadcasting medium unlike YouTube……
Theres only onne reson this site is soooooo popular… Its where you go to watch the free sports streaming like soccer, NBA, MMA and stuff which is why theres tons of overseas traffic.
