Italian Broadcaster Mediaset Launch Net TV Service

The largest Italian TV broadcaster, Mediaset have gotten the internet tv bug and launched a service called Mediaset Net TV. The service will provide on demand content via the web to a range of connected products.

The service will be supplied free to existing subscribers and has a library of more than 1000 movies and TV shows. There will also be a catch-up-tv service from the previous week. The broadcaster is has said the internet pay-TV service will launch February 23rd.

Good news if your an Italian tv viewer as it gives the major pay tv player, Sky Italia something to think about.
