In the beginning, watching TV via the internet was something that a very few strange individuals did late at night. Watching grainy flickering videos from dubious sources. Now that has been transformed, as the internet starts becoming your first choice destination for watching Movies, TV shows plus other videos of every category and type.

The question is, has internet TV broadcasting become the new and natural evolvement of the traditional TV set? The answer has to be yes, because of the sheer choice and true video on demand capability of online tv, and of course the fact that 90% of it is totally free. Even the pay tv side of it is reasonably inexpensive using iTunes or Netflix.

However, to truly become mainstream, Internet TV will need to be watched on the traditional TV, not the PC. This however can be done and is in fact becoming easier to do. Its quite simple to connect your PC into your TV set and can even be done wirelessly if your connected to a Wi-Fi network.

A lot of people still remember the grainy lo-def video’s that they saw on a PC years ago but that has now been transformed into very watchable resolution and in many cases, stunning HDTV.

Videos and TV shows you can watch from all the big websites like YouTube, NBC, CBS and Hulu have to be very crisp and clear as they are not only competing with each other but also traditional TV viewers.

You are now able to view content in full screen mode. And whilst Internet TV can occasionally become jerky or freeze, you will find it is generally smooth and very clear.

As soon as everyone gets a high broadband speed then the real High definition content can be rolled out and i fully expect that watching Internet content on your TV set will catch on in a big way.
