IPTV coming to Xbox360?
Fancy watching internet tv and catch up tv on your Xbox360? Well you might be in luck.
It has been rumoured to be happening before, but questioned at the CES Microsoft couldnt confirm which carrier will supply the streaming for the US market. But… If your from the UK then the news is that watching TV on your Xbox360 is looking distinctly possible. British Telecom ( BT) will be the carrier for the IPTV service in the UK, and it may well happen this year!
No firm commitment was given though, just hints. It appears though that it is being trialed right now. If your from another country, get in touch with your UK Xbox buddies right now and find out what’s going down. The system may well be rolled out at the E3 show.
No more details are yet known but the top games console playing internet tv straight onto your big tv screen will be awesome. And of course, there would obviously be recording options available on the massive xbox 120GB hard drive.
