Ipad Launch First Week. Ipad Gets Hacked And Smashed On Youtube

The iPad launch has barely happened, and already a new iPad has been smashed to bits on Youtube and the operating system has been hacked into. If you have been living in a mud hut in the middle of nowhere you may be unaware of the release the iPad, but the new device managed to shift 300,000 units within the first day of release.

Hacked iPad

A well known iPhone hacking group called  the iPhone Dev team, managed to Jailbreak Apple’s new baby within a day.

The group released a video showing the hacked into device which will allow users to bypass Apple’s security and install any app they want that have not been approved by Apple. There is a downside though, jailbroken iPads lose all warranty.

Smashed iPAd

In another interesting move, an iPad has been destroyed on video. A youth named, Justin Kocott decided that instead of treasuring his new toy, he would rather destroy it using a baseball bat and post a video on Youtube.

The video soon became a viral hit and managed a view count of 180,000 views in a few short hours. The person concerned was inspired by seeing videos of people smashing up new Wii and PS3 consoles and it was “something to do.”. He wanted to smash it on camera before anyone else did. And his next ambition is to destroy a 3DTV!

Now you may applaud his rebellious nature or think the guy is brain damaged depends on your point of view, however you can read an interview with the deranged child in the LA Times
