IMDB Launch Iphone Movie App

Good news for movie fans that have an iphone. IMDB (Internet Movie Database) have launched an iphone application that taps into its vast database of movie facts.

The app is basically the IMDB site that has a vast range of detailed information for over 1.5 million movie and TV shows plus 3.2 million celebrities in an easily navigable format. Other popular IMDB features are also included in the app, like trailers, photos, quotes, trivia, plot summaries, and movie/show synopsis amongst other trivia.

When you get fed up with looking at trivia and facts, and want to actually watch a movie, the app will use your location to find local cinema’s and showtimes. You can also enter a zip code for another location. If you prefer to watch TV, the app also offers current network schedules and news.

The only problem is that currently the app is only available for US users, but at least its free.
