Hulu Getting Down And Groovy With Warner Music
Not content with feeding us movies and tv shows all day, Hulu have now reached an agreement with Warner music. The deal means that Hulu will now start showing music videos, artist interviews, live concerts and other behind the scenes stuff from the vast range of Warners artists and labels including Atlantic Records, Rhino Records and Warner Records. Hulu will have artists pages featuring singers which will be announced early next year.

Music Videos On Hulu
Michael Nash, Executive Vice President, Digital Strategy and Business Development at Warners said:- “We’re pleased to be working with Hulu as we expand our premium ad-supported video strategy to provide our artists with a customized and flexible approach to marketing and monetizing their music, by leveraging the most powerful partnerships and platforms in the industry. Hulu has been a leader and innovator in this space, and we look forward to working with them on creating compelling, content-rich artist channels that will provide a dynamic experience to their fans, while introducing our artists to new audiences online.”
So why start showing music on Hulu? Possibly because when looking at the top videos viewed on Youtube, most of them are music tracks. So the audience want to see music videos and Hulu are giving the public what they want.
Hulu content is currently only available to US residents, but it is expected they will roll out the service worldwide next year.
