Everyone has to make money, particularly studios who provide the content. HULU is great for the short commercials (better than over air in quality) and the amount of content available. Would pay $5 a month for greater access (on netflix 3 movie plan), and would strongly endorse the hybrid plan (saw a survey that 70-75% would drop out if HULU started charging). Keep the size of free content on HULU as is,, then for a fee allow EXPANDED content and added shows where viewers would feel they are getting something EXTRA for paying the additional money. Selling is excite or disturb. Excite with more programs, access to shows back to beginning of a season.. Not watching smallville season nine.. rather wait and BUY the discs than come in missing ten first shows. Better for HULU to start with a small increase, showing many better things being offered; then as time goes on add to fees and content.
