Well if you need help, first off tell me what PC you have and what outputs it has. Some computers come with the right connections and just need a lead.

This was vuch much appreciated, ty. Its funny how everything you think would be so difficult ends up being common sence when it comes to computers. I guess if I was alittle more patient I could figure most of it out for myself. But I give up to easily. Thanks again

Yes, you can hook up your pc to your new 3d tv and use the "2d to 3d" mode to view your pc (or laptop) in 3d. I just did it tonight. It looked awful. Really awful. Now that being said, I was viewing it on a passive 3d tv which has half the resolution in 3d mode. On an active shutter system it might retain enough resolution to make it comfortable. The other thing, though, was it just didn't seem to be able to interpret the scene as well as when video images are being displayed. Now that today's "smart tvs" can bring youtube, netflix, social media, and even browsers on wifi to your tv, including household media sharing via win7, is there a point in hooking up a pc to it? Not as much. I tried with a 3d environment game but the game and computer did not extrapolate for real 3d and the tv did not interpret the images properly.
I am now wondering if there is a driver one can install that allows 3d information to be fed to the tv from 3d applications.
Perhaps in a year.

I have a question! which i cannot find an answer to, despite even asking the big wigs who make tv's. Can you hook up a 3d tv to your pc and use the 2d to 3d (fake 3d) function to view your pc in 3d? (yes i know you can buy nvidia graphics cards and a 3d computer monitor and sensor and a tv capture card, but it seems like a waste of money doing it that way when i can just spent 1700 on a new 50inch 3d plasma(or lcd led) instead of a pissy 22inch 3d monitor)...

Regis, you can but it depends on your video card.

John, it isn't that bad but she did need a wind screen and something to clean it up in post.

Spencer, No, only with the advent of USB3.0 could you do it but it is still a few years away before the 3.0 standard is fully implemented (it is being implemented in stages).

Did this person listen to the audio they recorded before uploading? It's an annoying, royal mess; she needs to learn how to use a microphone properly, or at least get a wind screen.... She loses a tremendous amount of credibility with this sloppy effort.
