Now that today's "smart tvs" can bring youtube, netflix, social media, and even browsers on wifi to your tv, including household media sharing via win7, is there a point in hooking up a pc to it? Not as much. I tried with a 3d environment game but the game and computer did not extrapolate for real 3d and the tv did not interpret the images properly. I am now wondering if there is a driver one can install that allows 3d information to be fed to the tv from 3d applications. Perhaps in a year.
