Google To Launch Android TV Software In May
Many people are getting excited about the new ‘Google TV‘ platform created by Google with partners Sony and Intel. And soon it will be shown to an expectant world when Google show its new Android-based TV software at its Google I/O developers conference in May, so reports the WSJ. However it will only be shown if they can get the software developed in time.
Google TV is getting everywhere
This Google TV project will make your television set more internet savvy and app friendly givingGoogle an entry into TV advertising via web videos. The new android software when developed will allow users to browse the internet and download tv widgets. These software apps would enable people to easily find and watch YouTube videos, monitor the stock market or enjoy other Internet-delivered media.
It is also expected that Sony will announce the new Google android enabled televisions at the Google conference, however no details on price have emerged. Samsung are also looking to produce android powered tv sets soon.
