free satellite tv on pc. Is it a scam?

Free satellite tv for pc software and downloads can be found all over the internet. This bugs me everytime i see a free satellite tv for pc ad available for $39 or more, but lets get one thing straight. Unless you buy a hardware card for your pc and hook it up to a dish. free satellite tv aint coming anywhere near your PC anytime soon.

The software packages and websites that promise you this option are lying then? Well yes and no. To get free satellite tv thats live now requires the hardware setup, but to watch preshown movies and tv shows from satellite tv is available from P2P and bit torrent sites. For instance you can search via one of the many p2p software for the latest tv episode or movie and probably be able to download it.

But P2P programs are free to download anyways, so software companies charging for free satellite tv for pc are not being entirely honest.

  1. I wish I had read this page sooner. I paid for the service by www.bitmar.com with the product called WebBrowserTv and it is a complete sham. The programming they offer is internet feeds that you could get by going directly to the site or new’s station skycams. Everything else is either church programming or paid infomercials. The site BitMar.com sells their product through PayPal and does not have a term of service available until after the purchase in which they declare to not give any refunds. Problem with it is, how can you know this if the terms of service aren’t available to you until after you make your purchase? They claim to have a refund policy before you buy the product but the form you fill out requesting a refund follows up with a message saying “we do not issue refunds and that any false expectations by the buyer based on their advertising is not their fault”. What a joke! I will be fighting this company but it would’ve been better to know this beforehand. Research before you buy. That’s what I have learned today.

  2. Hi.. lol.. i was searching for free satellite tv when i stumbled into your blog.

Anyway i think some of them are pretty much a scam. I did download one software before when allowed me to watch free tv but couldn’t watch all of them but i like watching free live sports because i cant get them as i am living in Malaysia unless i pay for them =)
