There are many sub cultures on the internet. Croquet clubs, cross stitching, Norwegian clog dancing. But theres one that if true is a little more interesting. End of the World believers.

More and more people see a cataclysmic end to civilisation and where we used to laugh it off, its now not quite so funny.

When we look at the world today with ecologically and social unrest. Hunger, climate change, tensions in the middle east and the ever increasing population explosion. Your inclined to think, somethings gotta give.

Add into the mix that the bible and many ancient civilisations predicted the date of the worlds end and that date was 2012 and its gotta make you wonder.

Interestingly all of these different predictions predict one or all of the following. The method of it happening just changes a little depending on who you listen too.

Firstly Natural disasters. The predictions all center around increasing natural disasters such as earthquakes, volcanoes, tsunami activity and extreme weather events.

Secondly World War 3. World tensions increasing, wars and nuclear attacks. Generally these all involve the middle east, USA and China.

Thirdly Pole shift of the earth. Changinging magnetic alignment and causing the ice caps to melt and the worlds landscape to totally change causing billions of deaths.

Interestingly many predictions of these happenings were made thousands of years ago and its a little spooky that they are starting to happen just as predicted.T
