Everyone wants a piece of Google TV, and that includes the DISH TV Network who have joined with Logitech and are offering the Logitech Revue set-top box, complete with Google TV services to their subscribers in the US.

Subscribers to the satellite tv service would get a television that is integrated with internet search features to a DVR and Video On Demand supplied by the DISH network.

Ira Bahr, the chief marketing officer of DISH TV said:- “We are excited about our exclusive partnership with Logitech to bring the rich entertainment capabilities of Google TV through Logitech to our customers.”

For Logitech, Greg Rhine said:- “We are delighted to be working with DISH Network to offer consumers what we believe is a transformational TV experience.”

The Logitech Revue was announced on Wenesday ready for official launch at the end of this month. The Google TV Revue comes complete with keyboard for users that have a HDMI tv.

Dish will be the first service provider that supports a “pairing protocol” enabling features like DVR search. Dish are the first of many companies that will offer this service, but they do have an exclusive deal with Logitech letting them offer the Revue for a reduced $179 price rather than the standard $299.

DISH TV Network expects to embed Google TV in its own DVRs and subscribers will be able to access the new service on launch date.
