After the exciting semi final matches in the champions league, the football clubs fans are facing the unenviable prospect of arranging and paying for the travelling and ticket expenses to see the very first all premiership English Champions League football final.

It is expected that over 45,000 English fans will be flying, bussing or hiking into Moscow next month, but they will need deep pockets to secure a place in the stadium.

The cost for the average footy fan will be around £3,000 each to watch the final.

Both Chelsea and Manchester United have been allocated 21,000 tickets each for the champions league final to be held at the Luzhniki stadium on May 21 in Moscow.

The ticket prices range between £63 - £158 but the deadline for applying has already ended so if your wanting tickets, your choices are the black market or ebay.

Already tickets are available on the black market for between £1,500 to a mind boggling £6,000.

Apart from the match ticket, fans will also need a visa and will cost £100 for an eight day processing service. You will need to get your applications in by May 4th or you can pay £190 for a speedy two day service. Apply deadline is May 16th. The third option is to use a specialist same day processing company and pay £250

Of course you will be wanting somewhere to stay and its just another chance to fleece the poor fans with room prices soaring by up to 500% for hotels and flights.

So to all fans going to Russia to watch the game. Enjoy and get very drunk. Because when you sober up the day after, your bank manager may be on the phone.
