Charlie Sheen Claims Old Show Now ‘Sucks’
Actor Charlie Sheen claims that the show he controversially left last year, Two and a Half Men, is much worse off without him, stating that the sitcom has ‘sucked’ since his replacement Ashton Kutcher joined the cast in May, though he adds that it is the show’s writers that are to blame.
Sheen, who is currently working on a new project in the form of FX’s TV adaptation of comedy film Anger Management, phoned into entertainment news show TMZ Live for a short interview in which he stated his displeasure at the direction the Warner Bros.-produced hit has gone in its 9th season.
He said in the interview: “I’m tired of lying, I’m tired of pretending like the show doesn’t suck, I’m tired of pretending like Ashton doesn’t suck, I’m tired of pretending like they’re not completely adrift. When you take away the anchor from your show, which they stupidly did, you go adrift. It’s nothing personal. I just feel bad for him [Kutcher], he’s saddled with such bad writing. I mean, I had some pretty bad writing over the years. You know, when the show was good, it was so great… but now, it’s like there’s no… there’s just nothing about it that’s fresh or interesting. I mean, I forget that it’s on the air.”
The outburst continues the feud between Charlie Sheen and the show on which he had a headlining role before a personal meltdown early last year, as Warner Bros. currently ponder legal action due to Anger Management using a Two and a Half Men-associated image of Sheen in promoting the new sitcom. Will the matter ever be put to rest, or are the petty arguments set to continue for a while longer yet?

Way to go Charlie – Tell it like it is.
I can`t wait for your new show.
I find the writing terrible on “2 and a Half Men” since you`ve been gone and it`s hard to believe the writers can`t be more creative with some of their story lines.
I still watch it because there`s nothing else on but I find the show kind of sappy nowadays.
Sorry Ashton.
