Bravia Adds Sports Content To Bravia Range
Sports lovers with a Sony Bravia rejoice, they have added the SBS catch-up TV channel to its BRAVIA Internet Video enabled television sets, allowing viewers to watch full matches of the World Cup 2010 and also standard SBS catch-up programming such as Global Village, Italian Food Safari, Mythbusters and Entourage.
Busy bee’s that Sony are, they have also added the Yahoo!7 channel showing the same tv shows as on the Plus7 catchup tv website, but with a better picture quality. This means shows like Border Security, Trauma, Mercy and The Matty Johns Show are ready to watch now, with the promise of more to come. Viewers are also able to watch Eurosport on Bravia equipment too.
For those unaware, the BRAVIA Internet video service allows viewers to connect to and browse libraries of video over the web from leading providers such as YouTube. Those without an internet enabled Bravia TV are able to access BRAVIA Internet Video via selected Sony Blu-ray players and home entertainment systems. Sony are planning more channels which will automatically be made available to all BRAVIA Internet Video devices from Sony.
With a major player like Sony in the internet connected tv market, things could get very interesting, very fast as more and more devices come onto the internet tv market.
