A new streaming app has been release for iPad by Bloomberg TV, offering 24 hour streaming of the business world news and share prices.

The app called ‘Bloomberg TV +’ makes use of 24/7 live streaming, video-on-demand and program archives of shows like Game Changers, Innovators and TechStars as well as interviews.

Unlike the other news app from CNN which requires a cable subscription, this one is free and also brings financial numbers, prices, charts and other associated data to the screen.

Extra features include the ability to view whichever way you turn the iPad, in either landscape or portrait mode, reminders and social networking features.

Users can download the new iPad Bloomberg app from iTunes and get access to 24-hour streaming using both Wi-Fi or 3G. A great feature (that other online TV providers should consider), is that the app allows viewers to download content for offline iPad viewing.

Bloomberg also say that they will be producing exclusive mobile content and that the app will soon appear for other mobile devices.
