That BBC Iplayer gets everywhere. The BBC has brought its much acclaimed Iplayer TV playing service to the Apple iPhone and iPod touch mobile devices.

If you log onto the iPlayer website using your iPhone or iTouch you will see an icon in the top right corner letting you know that the service is functional.

So hows it look? Well the sound and visual quality is really great, and makes watching Dancing with the stars almost bearable.

 

At present you can only use this service over Wifi and the BBC has agreed to offer free access to its content via various hotspots across the country. It is expected that other mobile devices will be offered the service soon.
