Hulu have secured streaming rights to award winning Canadian TV show Endgame from Lionsgate it has been revealed.

The crime drama was originally aired on Canadian TV channel Showcase in March 2011, and the Hulu streaming will mark its debut in the US showing on both Hulu and the subscription based Hulu Plus.

The show stars Shawn Doyle who starred in 24 and Desperate Housewives. He plays a Russian chess master who witnesses the murder of his fiancee and is confined to his hotel.

The show has completed one full season of 13 episodes but was then cancelled by Showcase. After improved ratings, award nominations and calls for it’s return, the show may just come back.

No details of financial terms have been disclosed but viewers can catch the show right now on Hulu.
