AT&T U-verse Add Turner Broadcasting Content To Streaming Service
Subscribers of AT&T U-verse will be happy to hear that new content from Turner Broadcasting has been added to its streaming TV service,

The Turner shows from TNT, TBS, TruTV, Cartoon Network and Adult Swim can be streamed online as quickly as 24 hours after airing. Viewers can watch on the U-verse Online entertainment website at uverseonline.att.net and other Turner sites.
AT&T have been focusing on an online based multi-screen strategy for its pay service, as a way to deter potential cord cutters and tap into the booming mobile device market.
Says Jeremy Legg, senior vp for TBS multi-platform distribution said:- “Given the rapid deployment of tablets and the ability of mobile devices to display long-form video directly from Web sites, TV Everywhere is more important than ever.”
U-verse Online which launched just over a year back, has around 160,000 titles, including 25,000 TV episodes and movies and videos.
U-verse TV customers that log in to their online account can watch content (some in HD) such as Hot Pursuit, Operation Repo, The Closer, Southland, Meet the Browns, Robot Chicken, Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Generator Rex.
Dan York, AT&T president of content said:- “Our content lineup continues to expand on every screen, and the compelling content from Turner is a great addition to U-verse Online.”
He continued, “This is another example of how we continue to secure rights from leading content providers to make TV shows available to U-verse TV customers on TV, online and on mobile devices. And we continue to work with additional content providers to bring more cross-platform content to customers.”
U-verse customers can also use additional online features such as schedule recordings for U-verse DVR at home and view DVR recordings online.
AT&T say that over 1 million videos were streamed last month using the service.
