Apple Start Promoting The IPad With Commercial At The Oscars
If your one of the millions of people drooling over the IPad, then you might want to see the new IPad commercial which was scrrened during the Oscars on ABC television. The commefrcial shows a lucky guy with the IPad on his lap and using it for the whole range of tasks that Apple are promoting, from presentations to viewing pictures, surfing the net and watching online movies.
Apple have historically chosen high profile TV events to promote new products. The company launched its Macintosh computer in the ads during Super Bowl XVIII iand has aired iPhone adsĀ in previous Oscar ceremonies.
The iPadis set for US launch on 3rd April with a rollout to the UK, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain and Switzerland later in the month. The IPad is an eagerly awaited 9.7-inch touchscreen mini computer that has no keyboard attached, the device is expected to be a big hit with movie watchers. Especially those that have used an IPhone and could do with a bigger screen. Initially available with Wi-Fi only, with 3G-enabled iPads coming out later in April for all mobile users.
Its good news for online tv viewers as Apple are looking to sell shows for $1 and it looks like Hulu will be on IPad at launch as well. Roll on April
